Media Silver will tell the fascinating and inspiring story of the first black troops ever offered Ranger training. They were heirs to the famed US Cavalry unit “Buffalo Soldiers” who fought in the Indian Wars on the Great Plains.

Media Silver followed the inside stories of the 2nd Ranger Infantry Company soldiers as they trained for and fight battles against North Korean and Chinese armies during the brutal first year of the war. The brave veterans of those campaigns – men now in their seventies and eighties are grateful they survived their teens and twenties. Their voices and images will tell a story unique in American military history.
